Sajilo Kitab is owned and operated by Ashreej Media and Technologies Private Limited, a company registered in Nepal.

By accessing, browsing, creating an account on, or purchasing products through Sajilo Kitab, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website or its services.

1. About Sajilo Kitab

Sajilo Kitab is a digital platform dedicated to books and reading.

5. Google Sign-In

Sajilo Kitab may provide Google Sign-In as an alternative way to create or access an account.

When you use Google Sign-In, authentication is handled through Google’s services. Your use of Google services is also subject to Google’s own terms and policies.

Sajilo Kitab does not receive or store your Google password.

Information received through Google Sign-In is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Website Content

Sajilo Kitab contains a mixture of original, licensed, curated, and user-generated content.

Books listed on Sajilo Kitab may be subject to limited stock or availability.

We cannot guarantee that every book displayed on the website will remain available at all times.

12. Payment Methods

Sajilo Kitab currently supports payment methods including:

• eSewa
• Khalti
• Cash on Delivery

Online payments may be processed through the relevant payment provider.

When you choose eSewa or Khalti, you may be redirected to or interact with the relevant payment provider’s systems. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.

Sajilo Kitab does not request or store your payment wallet password or other authentication credentials belonging to the payment provider.

For Cash on Delivery orders, payment is made in accordance with the delivery arrangements communicated for the order.

13. Payment Confirmation

An online order may be considered successfully paid only after the payment has been successfully confirmed through the relevant payment system.

If a payment appears to have been deducted from your account but Sajilo Kitab does not receive confirmation of the transaction, we may need to verify the transaction with the relevant payment provider before processing the order or issuing a refund.

Customers should not intentionally submit fraudulent, duplicated, reversed, unauthorized, or disputed payment transactions.

14. Delivery

Sajilo Kitab may use third-party delivery or logistics providers to deliver orders.

Delivery time may vary depending on:

• Delivery location
• Product availability
• Courier or logistics provider
• Weather and transportation conditions
• Public holidays
• Supply or operational disruptions
• Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Any delivery estimate provided on the website or during an order is an estimate and not necessarily a guaranteed delivery date.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address and reachable contact number.

If an order cannot be delivered because of an incorrect address, unavailable recipient, inability to contact the customer, refusal to accept the package, or similar circumstances attributable to the customer, additional delivery arrangements or charges may apply where appropriate.

15. Cancellation, Returns and Refunds

We understand that sometimes an order may need to be cancelled or a product may need to be returned.

Cancellations, returns, replacements, and refunds will be handled in accordance with the applicable laws of Nepal and Sajilo Kitab’s applicable cancellation, return, and refund procedures.

Where a specific product is subject to special return or replacement conditions, those conditions may be stated on the relevant product page or communicated during the order process.

Where a product is defective, damaged, incorrect, or otherwise eligible for return or replacement under applicable law or our applicable policy, customers should contact us as soon as reasonably possible after receiving the order.

Refunds for online payments may be processed through the relevant payment mechanism or another appropriate method, depending on the circumstances.

Refund timing may depend on the payment provider, banking system, or other third-party service involved.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded under the laws of Nepal.

16. Customer Responsibilities for Orders

When placing an order, you agree to:

• Provide accurate delivery and contact information;
• Select the correct product and quantity;
• Use a legitimate payment method;
• Not place fraudulent or intentionally misleading orders;
• Be reasonably available to receive Cash on Delivery orders; and

Repeated fraudulent, abusive, or intentionally misleading orders may result in cancellation of orders, restriction of account access, or other appropriate action.

Sajilo Kitab may allow registered users to submit:

You remain responsible for the content you submit.

By submitting content to Sajilo Kitab, you confirm that:

4. The content is not defamatory, threatening, abusive, hateful, obscene, or unlawfully harmful;

6. The content does not violate applicable laws.

We encourage honest opinions, including critical opinions. However, criticism should be expressed in a reasonable manner and should not become harassment, threats, personal attacks, or unlawful content.

18. License to User-Submitted Content

When you submit a review, rating, comment, photograph, or other content to Sajilo Kitab, you grant Sajilo Kitab a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, display, publish, distribute, format, adapt, and otherwise use that content for the purposes of operating, promoting, improving, and maintaining Sajilo Kitab.

This license does not mean that you transfer ownership of your original content to Sajilo Kitab.

These may include, as applicable, the Electronic Commerce (E-Commerce) Act, 2081, the Electronic Transactions Act, 2063, the Consumer Protection Act, 2075, the Consumer Protection Regulation, 2076, the Privacy Act, 2075, and other prevailing laws and regulations applicable to our business and services. Nepal Law Commission currently lists the E-Commerce Act, 2081 and Electronic Transactions Act, 2063 among Nepal’s applicable legislation, and its legal index lists the Consumer Protection Act, 2075.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive consumers of rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under Nepalese law.

37. Dispute Resolution

We would prefer to resolve disagreements directly and reasonably whenever possible.
